Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for Foundation Model Engineers and Architects who will play a pivotal role in advancing AI technology in the scientific and engineering sectors. The responsibilities include designing and implementing Scientific Foundation Models, integrating physics-based principles with data-driven methodologies, optimizing algorithms for efficiency and accuracy, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to address complex challenges in strategic sectors. Engineers and architects will contribute to developing a sovereign AI stack, ensuring robust benchmarking, and creating frameworks for AI safety.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Scientific Computing, Numerical Simulations, and Applied Mathematics
  • Proficiency in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Neural Network frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Experience with AI Model Architecture Design and Optimization
  • Knowledge of Physics-based Modeling, Computational Physics, or related fields
  • Proficient coding skills in Python, C++, or similar programming languages
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in high-performance computing (HPC) and knowledge of cloud infrastructures is a plus
  • A passion for driving innovation in building next-generation scientific AI solutions
