Role Description
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and managing relationships with clients in the assigned region. Key responsibilities include developing strategic sales plans, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and leading a team of sales professionals. You will also be tasked with analyzing market trends, providing insights, and ensuring consistent customer engagement and satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, account management, and sales forecasting
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer insights, and competitive strategies
- Proficiency in team leadership, performance management, and the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Analytical thinking and strategic planning capabilities
- Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office applications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar sales leadership position, preferably within a related industry
Requirement: FMCG & Vending
Expand vending presence across corporate parks, institutions & commercial hubs
Drive GT,MT, Ecommerce and Vending sales for bakery & food categories
Build & manage distributor networks across South India
Manage machine placements, refilling revenue & uptime coordination
Lead & develop a team of ASEs, SOs, KAMs & merchandisers
Deliver monthly/quarterly sales targets
Execute product launches & visibility activation
Experience Needed:
8–15 years in FMCG (Bakery/Snacks/Food preferred)
Experience in vending business is a strong advantage
Strong South India distributor network & market knowledge
Proven ability to build teams & scale new territories
