Job Title: Cost Engineer – Civil / Interior Projects (Middle East Projects | Ambattur, Chennai)

Job Summary:

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ambattur, Chennai, supporting Middle East–based projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and billing for residential, commercial, or interior works. The role involves coordination with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate quantity take-offs, cost control, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil, architectural, and finishing works.
  • Conduct cost estimation, rate analysis, and tender documentation.
  • Verify contractor bills and assist in payment certification.
  • Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) and material reconciliation reports.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and vendors for quantity verification and scope variations.
  • Support project scheduling, milestone tracking, and progress billing.
  • Maintain documentation for contracts, variations, and claims.
  • Use AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP tools for quantity take-offs and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, billing, and estimation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Middle East–based or international projects.
  • Exposure to interior fit-outs or commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with contract administration and variation claims.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹60,000.00 per month
