Job Title: SCCM Systems Engineer
Location : bangalore
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Specialist Systems Engineer
with strong expertise in
Intune, SCCM, Windows endpoint management, and enterprise-scale device operations
. The role involves managing 70K–160K devices across multiple regions, handling deployments, patching, imaging, security, and providing end-to-end project coordination. Candidates must possess solid troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate globally.

Years Of Experience

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Project Handling and Digital Workplace Services (DWS).
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience.

Qualification / Certification

  • Diploma or Degree (Mandatory)
  • ITIL Foundation (Optional)
  • Windows Workstation Certification (Optional)
  • Windows Server Certification (Optional)

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage mobile and laptop/desktop devices via Intune, Hybrid environments, and Azure.
  • Deploy and manage Intune policies, compliance configurations, and security baselines.
  • Perform patching via SCCM, software distribution, configuration/release management, and hardware/software inventory management.
  • Manage compliance through DCM baselines and reporting.
  • Use MDT for workstation imaging across tablets, laptops, and desktops (Windows 10/11).

  • Provide support and administration for:

  • Symantec Endpoint Security (Antivirus, VPN, Firewall)

  • DFS/File Server (shared drive creation, access and permission management)

  • Print Server environments

  • Support global endpoint environments:

  • 70K devices (France)

  • 80K devices (Europe + Middle East)
  • 110K devices worldwide

  • 160K devices including branches

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and senior management.

  • Manage Incident & Problem Management activities.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Provide project management, including maintaining and prioritizing backlogs (Teams Planner / Jira).
  • Prepare, update, and publish project documents in Teams channels.
  • Ensure awareness of processes, requirements, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate tasks with multiple teams and regions; ensure smooth project integration.
  • Follow through on communication updates via platforms like Yammer, MDW, etc.
  • Coordinate regional patching and package delivery; provide ongoing compliance updates.
  • Report compliance status, challenges, and action plans to management.
  • Update WW EVS OperCo with all required information.
  • Perform UES Server Patching (FR, EMEA/UK, India; additional regions as needed).
  • Ensure adherence to security standards including COBRA, SEC, and internal policies.

Mandatory Skills / Experience

  • Strong advanced troubleshooting skills across multiple technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • Microsoft Intune

  • SCCM
  • GPO
  • Windows Registry
  • MDT

  • Log analysis and endpoint management tools

  • Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy etc.)

  • Administration of:

  • Active Directory

  • Group Policies (GPO)
  • DFS

  • Print Servers

  • Ability to handle high-scale enterprise endpoint environments.

Good To Have Skills / Experience

  • Experience with Symantec Antivirus or similar endpoint security tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and ITIL frameworks.
  • PowerBI for reporting and dashboards.
  • PowerShell scripting for automation.
