We are seeking a QC professional for an emerging Medical Device Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specializing in Advanced Wound Care and Infection Management. The company is in the early stages of production and is preparing to bring its products to market in the coming months. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional team and gain international exposure.
The first round of interviews will be conducted online, with the final interview taking place in Mumbai (details to be provided upon initiation).
Job Description and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree: in a relevant field such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related science or engineering discipline.
Experience:
Industry Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a QC role within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry is often preferred Lab Experience: Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and equipment, including experience with analytical methods, is highly valued.
Skills and Competencies:
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for performing tests, interpreting data, and identifying deviations from quality standards Technical Skills: Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, software, and tools specific to quality control testing Documentation: Ability to accurately document test results, procedures, and deviations in compliance with regulatory requirements Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, such as FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP Problem-Solving: Ability to identify quality issues, analyse root causes, and contribute to corrective actions Communication: Effective communication skills to report findings, collaborate with other departments, and participate in audits Language Skills: Fluent understanding of verbal and written English is a must.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing Incoming Material Inspection: Inspecting and testing raw materials, components, and supplies to ensure they meet specified requirements In-Process Inspection: Monitoring and inspecting products during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards Final Product Testing: Performing final inspections and tests on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and regulatory standards before release   Documentation and Record-Keeping Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities. Ensuring that all documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory requirements Non-Conformance Reporting: Documenting and reporting any deviations from quality standards or specifications. Initiating and managing nonconformance reports (NCRs).   Calibration and Maintenance: Equipment Calibration: Ensuring that all inspection, measuring, and test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained Routine Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.   Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all quality control activities comply with local and international regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EU MDR, ISO Internal Audits: Assisting with internal audits to verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.   Sampling and Statistical Analysis Sampling Plans: Developing and implementing sampling plans for inspection and testing activities Data Analysis: Analyzing quality control data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
