The
Engineering Manager – Data Projects
will lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and developers to design, build, and deliver scalable data solutions that drive business insights and analytics. This role requires strong technical leadership, project delivery experience, and a deep understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the
  design, development, and implementation
  of data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data models.
• Define and enforce
  engineering best practices
  , coding standards, and data governance policies.
• Drive innovation through
  automation, reusability, and continuous improvement
  in data engineering processes.
• Own
  end-to-end delivery
  of data initiatives — from requirement analysis to production deployment.
• Collaborate closely with
  product owners, business stakeholders
  to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time.
• Ensure that all deliverables meet
  quality, security, and compliance standards
  .
• Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and drive upskilling and learning initiatives.
• Act as a
  technical and delivery point of contact
  for customers and leadership.
• Contribute to long-term
  data strategy
  , architecture decisions, and roadmap planning.
• Drive
  cost optimization and performance tuning
  for data platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 + years of total experience in software/data engineering, with 3+ years in a
  managerial role
  .
• Proven experience delivering
  enterprise-grade data projects
  .
• Hands-on expertise with
  data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
  using tools like
  Apache Airflow, dbt, or Informatica
  .
• Strong understanding of
  data warehousing and modeling concepts
  .
• Proficiency in
  SQL
  ,
  Python
  , and strong experience in
  AWS
  cloud platform
  .
• Experience with
  modern data warehouses
  (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Familiarity with
  data governance, cataloging, and quality tools
  .
• Strong understanding of the
  Enterprise Data Fabric concepts.
• Preferred experience in Salesforce Integration projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
