About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Network Support Engineer (Fresher) with strong fundamentals in networking and Linux. The ideal candidate should have completed CCNA / RHCE certifications and possess hands-on knowledge in troubleshooting network and system-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance, uptime, and alerts through NOC tools.
  • Troubleshoot L1/L2 issues related to connectivity, routing, and system performance.
  • Support Linux server operations, user management, and basic configurations.
  • Perform routine network health checks and system updates.
  • Assist in configuring switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and escalation workflows.
  • Coordinate with senior engineers for complex issues and customer support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CCNA certification (knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS).
  • RHCE or strong Linux administration skills (CLI, file systems, services).
  • Understanding of basic security concepts: firewalls, access lists, VPNs.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in shifts (NOC/Support based role).

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Exposure to monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana).
  • Basic knowledge of IPTV/OTT streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTP).
  • Understanding of cloud or virtualization (AWS, VMware).

Education:

  • BCA/ B.Tech / B.Sc / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Freshers or up to 1 year experience in networking or Linux support.
