Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented MIS Associate to join our team in Pune. The role involves managing business reporting, dashboards, and data analysis to support decision-making across teams. You'll work with finance, operations, and leadership to build automated MIS reports, track performance metrics, and ensure data accuracy. Strong skills in Advanced Excel and familiarity with SQL or BI tools are essential. Join PayGlocal to turn data into insights and drive impactful business decisions.

What will you work on?:

  • Own daily / weekly / monthly business performance dashboards & MIS reporting
  • Analyse trends across revenue, costs, margins, funnels, cohorts, product metrics, collections, etc.
  • Partner with finance, operations, product, and leadership to understand data needs
  • Design and maintain automated reports in Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • Extract data through SQL / BI tools / CRM / Salesforce / ERP / internal systems
  • Drive data accuracy, hygiene and process automation to reduce manual intervention
  • Monitor variance analysis vs targets / forecast / budgets
  • Support special projects — pricing models, cohort deep dives, cost optimization, forecasting models.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Engineering / Economics / Statistics / Data Analytics
  • MBA /CA Inter is an added plus (not mandatory)
  • Strong expertise in Advanced Excel (must)
  • Working knowledge of SQL / Power BI / Tableau / Google Looker / similar BI tool
  • Strong business understanding + analytical & logical reasoning
  • Ability to convert raw data into insights
  • Excellent communication skills

Good to Have:

  • Experience in fintech / payments / SaaS / financial services / eCommerce
  • Exposure to revenue forecasting, financial modelling, collections, sales MIS
  • Basic knowledge of automation using macros / Google App Script / Python
