Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Prepare detailed project schedules using MS Project / Primavera P6 for all phases of construction.
  • Define work breakdown structures (WBS), key milestones, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to finalize realistic timelines.
  • Continuously update schedules based on progress, delays, and scope changes.

2. Project Monitoring & Control

  • Track project progress against baseline schedules and budgets.
  • Prepare and present weekly / monthly progress reports, dashboards, and delay analysis.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose corrective measures.
  • Conduct variance analysis schedule, cost, and resource utilization.

3. Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate with internal departments (Design, Procurement, Execution, QS, Finance) for planning alignment.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors for updates and reporting.
  • Support management with data for decision-making and forecasting.

4. Cost & Resource Planning

  • Work closely with the QS and Procurement teams for cost tracking and resource planning.
  • Monitor cash flow and align project progress with financial forecasts.
  • Conduct productivity and manpower utilization analysis.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain all planning records, schedules, and baseline revisions.
  • Prepare MIS, dashboards, and progress trackers for senior management.
  • Support tendering and proposal teams with schedule inputs during bidding stages.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory); PG in Project Management preferred.
  • Experience: 8–15 years in project planning within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Software Expertise: MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Excel (Advanced), ERP systems.
  • Domain Exposure: Residential, Commercial, or Township projects.
