Role Overview

Consortium Gifts is looking for a results-oriented Social Media Marketing Specialist who can drive measurable growth across our digital channels. The role requires strong content instincts, platform expertise, and an analytical mindset to continuously optimise performance and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute social media strategies to achieve brand visibility, engagement, and lead-generation goals.
  • Create and manage monthly content calendars covering posts, reels, stories, campaigns, and engagement activities.
  • Produce platform-optimised content in coordination with design and product teams.
  • Run experiments across formats and platforms to identify what works and scale high-performing content.
  • Track and analyse KPIs such as reach, engagement rate, follower growth, video performance, click-through rate, and lead conversions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor content, industry trends, and platform algorithm changes to refine strategy.
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and brand interactions.
  • Coordinate with influencers/creators where required to amplify reach.
  • Support paid social media campaigns (if experienced).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on social media management experience.
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms and performance optimisation.
  • Ability to write crisp, brand-aligned copy for social channels.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, and scheduling tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret platform metrics and apply insights.
  • Creative thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
