Job Position: Auto ElectricianJob Overview:

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of the company's mobile equipment. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, meticulous documentation of all work performed, and a commitment to teamwork and high workplace housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities:Technical & Maintenance Duties

  • Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of electrical malfunctions.
  • Carry out mobile equipment electrical system maintenance and repair.
  • Conduct equipment functioning tests after each repair or maintenance task.
  • Ensure all repair and maintenance activities are documented as per system requirements.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of assigned tools and report defective tools or equipment.
  • Raise requests for additional tools if needed to the workshop management team.

Workplace & Team Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping at the workplace.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues as a team.
  • Know and comply with all relevant SWI (Safe Working Instructions).

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Take ownership of HSE responsibilities related to tasks performed.
  • Report all incidents related to health and safety to the Foremen/Team Leader.
  • Ensure compliance with group HSE policies with particular focus on LOTOTO and PPE.
  • Consult with direct or indirect supervisors if unsure about safely completing a task.
  • Carry out LMRA (Last Minute Risk Assessment) before starting every task.

Qualifications:

  • Basic oral and written English communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (especially electronic diagnostic tools).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Auto Electrician.
  • Holder of a Qatar light vehicle driving license will be an added advantage.
