Job Title: Field Officer

Location: Bheemavaram, Andhra Pradesh

Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Project Manager / Field Supervisor / Area Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Operations and Monitoring:
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor and oversee ongoing projects.
  • Collect data on project implementation, community needs, and progress.
  • Perform spot-checks to verify quality and efficiency of work being carried out in the field.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and safety standards.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to understand their concerns, needs, and expectations.
  • Organize community meetings, awareness sessions, and feedback collection.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and the local population, addressing any issues or concerns raised by the community.
  • Data Collection and Reporting:
  • Gather and compile data related to project outcomes, beneficiaries, and other relevant parameters.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports based on field observations and data collected.
  • Assist in preparing reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Training and Capacity Building:
  • Train community members, local staff, or volunteers in relevant skills or project-specific tasks.
  • Promote the empowerment of local stakeholders by building their capacity in sustainable practices, skills, or governance.
  • Collaboration with Local Authorities:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate coordination and collaboration between various entities to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution:
  • Address any challenges or issues that arise in the field, whether related to logistics, community engagement, or project activities.
  • Work with local leaders or stakeholders to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive project environment.
  • Field Support:
  • Provide logistical support for field operations, including transportation, resource allocation, and coordination.
  • Ensure timely and effective mobilization of materials and supplies to the field as needed.
  • Compliance with Policies and Procedures:
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ethical standards, and government regulations during field activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of field activities, including expenditures, attendance, and project outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • SSC/INTER/DEGREE.
  • Experience:
  • Prior experience (1-2 years) in fieldwork, project management, or rural development is preferred.
  • FRESHERS
  • Familiarity with the local geography, culture, and language of Bheemavaram or surrounding areas is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse community groups.
  • Good organizational and reporting skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Word, Excel, etc.) for reporting and data management.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Willingness to work in rural, remote, and sometimes challenging environments.
  • Strong commitment to social development and community welfare.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
