We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive / Account Assistant with hands-on experience in Tally ERP, account reconciliation, and general accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP or other relevant ERP systems.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, vouchers, and ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor and customer accounts on a regular basis.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in coordination with the compliance team.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain supporting documents and ensure audit readiness.
  • Generate reports for management as required (e.g., aging analysis, cash flow reports).
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary data and reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams for invoice or payment clarifications.
  • Key Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in Tally ERP (Tally Prime preferred) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with bank reconciliation.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
  • Certification or training in Tally ERP will be an added advantage.
  • Preferred Attributes: Experience working in a manufacturing, trading, or services environment.
  • Exposure to ERP systems other than Tally (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
