Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Furniture Maker at Bhawana Enterprises, located in Pune. The Furniture Maker will be responsible for designing, crafting, and assembling furniture pieces according to specifications. Daily tasks will include measuring, cutting, shaping wood and other materials, sanding, painting, staining, and finishing furniture. The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, adhering to safety guidelines, and collaborating with the design team to create custom pieces.

Qualifications

  • Experience in woodworking, carpentry, and furniture making
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to furniture making
  • Skills in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wood and other materials
  • Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
  • Ability to interpret design blueprints, sketches, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle materials and equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in carpentry or a related field is a plus
