Job Description – QA Engineer (Manual + Functional Testing)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with strong experience in E-commerce testing and Agile-based projects. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in writing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring product quality. The role requires strong communication skills, client interaction ability, and a proactive approach in contributing ideas and improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for test coverage.
  • Design, document, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts in an Agile environment.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs to closure using defect management tools.
  • Conduct E-commerce domain-specific validations including checkout, payment gateway, cart, and order workflows.
  • Provide proactive feedback and suggestions to improve product quality and user experience.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, client calls, and daily stand-ups.
  • Take ownership of assigned modules and ensure timely delivery with quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Experience in testing E-commerce web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with client-facing experience.
  • Ability to work in flexible hours and take initiative in driving testing activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
