Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic Head of B2B Sales with 5-10 years of proven experience in HR tech and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive revenue growth by identifying and engaging potential enterprise clients for our SaaS platform. Drawing on your sales expertise and deep industry knowledge, you'll build and nurture relationships that translate into successful deals and long-term partnerships.
This position demands a hunter mentality to secure new business, combined with a builder mindset to shape our sales strategy, assemble and lead a high-performing team, and scale operations in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in HR tech, SaaS, sourcing, or recruitment
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- High emotional intelligence, with a knack for building trust and rapport with senior stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or managing sales teams, thriving in a player-coach capacity
- Preference for startup or scale-up experience; must be resilient, resourceful, and adaptable in dynamic environments
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential enterprise clients for our SaaS products
- Drive new business through proactive prospecting, tailored pitching, skillful negotiation, and deal closure, while deeply understanding clients' recruitment pain points and positioning AltHire's AI-enabled solutions as the ideal fit
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients
- Forecast sales volumes, track client onboarding, and develop strategic plans to meet and exceed aggressive revenue targets
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, acting as a player-coach to foster growth and excellence
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, CEOs, and other key decision-makers
- Collaborate with executive leadership to refine go-to-market strategies and identify expansion opportunities
- Track performance metrics and ensure consistent achievement of sales goals
- Provide valuable feedback to the product development team based on client insights and interactions
