Department: Academics & Competitive Educator

The Science Educator will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging science lessons across assigned classes (Middle School, High School, or Competitive Preparation, as per expertise). The role requires a balance of subject mastery, teaching pedagogy, and digital adaptability to ensure EduVritti students receive both conceptual clarity and exam-oriented preparation.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & DeliveryConduct in-person classroom sessions for Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology as per specialization).
  • Deliver lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE/IB/IGCSE curricula or competitive exam frameworks (IIT-JEE/NEET Foundation), depending on assignment.
  • Incorporate EduVritti's structured teaching methodology – C³ approach (Clarity, Confidence, Critical Thinking).
  • Use EduVritti's digital tools, smart boards, and online resources for interactive delivery.
  • Content & AssessmentPrepare lesson plans, assignments, and practice sheets in line with EduVritti academic standards.
  • Contribute to the creation of question banks, mock tests, and past-year paper discussions.
  • Conduct and evaluate unit tests, periodic assessments, and board/competitive mock exams.
  • Provide individual feedback to students for academic improvement.
  • Student Support & MentorshipAct as a mentor and guide for students, addressing doubts inside and outside class.
  • Support career guidance, exam strategies, and study techniques.
  • Collaborate with counselors and coordinators for parent-teacher communication.
  • Collaboration & ReportingWork closely with the Academic Coordinator to ensure syllabus completion and quality delivery.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and workshops organized by EduVritti.
  • Submit weekly reports on student progress, attendance, and performance.
  • Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's/Master's degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent.
  • B.Ed. / M.Ed. preferred (not mandatory if exceptional teaching ability is proven).
  • Prior teaching experience in school/edtech/coaching institute (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and presentation skills.
  • Comfort with technology-enabled learning (smart boards, LMS, online assessments).
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and shaping student growth.
