Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef De Partie (Indian) located in Lonavala. The Chef De Partie (Indian) will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within their Indian section. Daily tasks also include assisting with menu planning, ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to health and safety regulations. Additional responsibilities involve training junior staff and monitoring food stock and waste to ensure cost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills, including knife skills, cooking techniques, and the ability to follow recipes
  • Experience in menu planning and food presentation
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in a kitchen environment
  • Teamwork and leadership skills, with an ability to train junior staff
  • Excellent communication skills and time management abilities
  • Relevant qualifications such as a diploma in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or resort setting is a plus
