Job Description:

Job Title: VMC Operator

Location: Nighoje-Pune
Experience: 1–3 years (preferred)
Job Type: Full-Time | Shift-based

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate VMC machines as per production requirements

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job cards

  • Load and unload workpieces, tools, and fixtures

  • Perform offset setting, tool setting, and basic program editing

  • Conduct first piece inspection and in-process quality checks

  • Use measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge etc.

  • Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety protocols

  • Report deviations or defects to the supervisor/quality department

Key Skills Required:

  • Hands-on experience with VMC machine operations

  • Basic understanding of G-code/M-code (editing or reading)

  • Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds & feeds

  • Ability to work independently and meet production targets

  • Familiarity with quality standards and tolerances

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Qualification:

  • ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Turner, or Mechanical Engineering

  • 1–3 years of VMC operating experience in a manufacturing setup
