Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems that power core business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers. Your work will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of enterprise-grade applications, while helping shape the overall engineering culture. Accountabilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using modern frameworks and best practices.

· Architect and implement RESTful APIs with a focus on security, scalability, and maintainability.

· Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and help improve team practices.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

· Participate in architectural and design discussions to ensure high-quality technical solutions.

· Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.

· Strong expertise in the Spring Framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA).

· Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and security standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and RBAC.

· Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) and SQL.

· Experience working with microservices, distributed systems, or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

· Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and ETL/data integration frameworks is advantageous.
