Role Purpose :
We are hiring a Lead Agentic AI Engineer to drive the design, implementation and operationalisation of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) systems within our LPL function. You will lead the development of intelligent agents (Agent Core), manage incident management workflows (Terraform, AWS Bedrock, etc) and work closely with AI/ML, DevOps, cloud infrastructure and product teams. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in building autonomous AI systems and managing them at scale.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end engineering of agentic AI solutions : design and implement intelligent agents, orchestrations, workflow management and integrations across platforms.
- Utilise and operationalise services like AWS Bedrock, Terraform for infrastructure as code, AI/ML frameworks and tooling to build production-grade agentic systems.
- Define architecture and infrastructure for incident management of AI agents : monitoring, logging, alerts, resilience, failure recovery, human-in-loop workflows.
- Collaborate closely with AI/ML research and engineering teams to translate models into agentic applications : define APIs, integrate LLMs, build frameworks (LangChain or equivalent) for agents.
- Act as technical lead on complex projects : set technical direction, review code/design, champion best practices in AI architecture, DevOps, observability, and security.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams on agentic AI, infrastructure automation, cloud-native deployment and operational excellence.
- Monitor system performance, tune ML/AI agent operation, implement cost control, ensure scalability, reliability and performance of AI systems.
- Evaluate emerging trends in agentic AI, keep abreast of state-of-the-art, build prototypes and propose architecture improvements.
- Present technical solutions, trade-offs and roadmap to senior stakeholders; influence strategic decisions for AI platform investments.
Required Skills & Experience :
to 12 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering or systems engineering, with substantial work on agentic or autonomous systems.
- Strong background in AI/ML combined with incident management, infrastructure automation and cloud services (especially AWS e.g., AWS Bedrock).
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform (or other IaC tools), AWS cloud infrastructure, deployment/monitoring of AI systems.
- Experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems (agents built on LLMs, automation workflows, human-in-loop, orchestration).
- Solid software engineering skills, ability to lead design and code reviews, guide teams and solve complex architectural challenges.
- Strong knowledge of observability, logging, performance tuning, cost-optimisation in production AI systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership and mentoring skills.
- Notice period constraints : Must be able to join within 10 days.
- Preferred : Experience with LangChain, open-source AI frameworks, working in product engineering/devops hybrid environments.
