Trainee Engineer

• A trainee engineer assists senior engineers by conducting research, helping with design and development, and performing data analysis and reporting to gain practical experience. Key responsibilities include participating in training, collaborating with teams, ensuring safety and quality standards, and learning to use industry-standard software and tools. This role is focused on learning and preparing for future, more senior engineering positions. Key responsibilities
• Assisting with projects: Help senior engineers with designing, developing, and testing new projects and systems.
• Conducting research: Gather data and conduct research to help determine project needs and identify solutions.
• Preparing documentation: Compile project data, write technical reports, prepare project designs like blueprints, and assist with creating as-built drawings.
• Ensuring quality and safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards, and assist with quality control and compliance checks.
• Problem-solving: Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions to design and development problems.
• Collaboration and communication: Participate in team meetings, communicate with other staff, and build professional relationships.
• Training and learning: Attend training programs, workshops, and site visits to develop skills and gain practical, hands-on experience.
• Using software: Learn and apply industry-standard engineering software and tools.
• Common skills and qualifications A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is often required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Knowledge of specific software such as AutoCAD or Revit may be beneficial.
