About the Role

We are hiring a
Junior Content Writer / Content Specialist
to join our content & marketing team.

This role is ideal for candidates who have
1–3 years of experience
in writing long-form and short-form content, storytelling, brand communication, and web copy.

You will produce fresh content, rewrite existing pages, and support content needs across multiple business functions.

This is an on-site role at our Hyderabad office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write clear, engaging, high-quality content for blogs, landing pages, website pages, and marketing assets.
  • Understand the target audience and craft content that is simple, informative, and conversion oriented.
  • Rewrite and improve existing content to enhance clarity, tone, and brand alignment.
  • Create scripts for corporate videos, short reels, and product explainers (if required).
  • Work with the marketing and design teams for content needs across the web, social media, and campaigns.
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of drafts.
  • Use modern content tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Grammarly, etc.) to enhance writing quality.
  • Conduct basic research on topics, industries, and competitors to build accurate content.
  • Ensure every piece follows FunnL's brand voice and communication standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–3 years
    of experience in content writing or content creation.
  • Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to adapt tone and style based on the content type.
  • Strong research ability and clarity in articulation.
  • Familiarity with content collaboration and AI tools.
  • Basic understanding of how content supports marketing funnels and brand awareness.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple content requirements.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience writing scripts for videos or social media content.
  • Understanding B2B or SaaS content style.
  • Exposure to WordPress or any content management platform.
  • Ability to analyze content performance (even basic metrics).
