About the Role:New Business Development of Agri-Commodities (Pulses, Spices & Oil Seeds)Conducting market research to identify trends, pricing fluctuations, and demand-supply dynamics in the agricultural commodities marketAssessment of global opportunitiesCommercial negotiation & order finalizationDeveloping strategic relationship with stakeholdersNegotiating contracts with suppliers, buyers, and intermediaries for the purchase and sale of agricultural commoditiesMonitoring performance in quality, cost & deliveryCoordination with the logistics and finance team & ensuring smooth operationsEnsuring compliance with regulatory requirements, trade laws, and industry standards governing the trade of agricultural commoditiesWhat you should have:We're looking for people with a hustler mindset, who are curious, eager to learn new things, with a passion for innovation, and work to be a little better every single day. This is not solely based on whether a candidate has previously done similar work. We're looking for someone dynamic with the below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role –Previous experience with International business / Exports in a company with a sizeable business ( > 100cr business per annum) Prior experience in working in markets of Middle East, Africa & South East AsiaIn-depth knowledge of Agri-Commodities (Pulses, Spices & Oil Seeds) & international market Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Powerpoint & MS ExcelPreferred relevant experience of 5-7 years The candidate must have a Graduation degree in any stream or diploma course in International Business. Candidates with an MBA degree will be preferredStrong negotiation skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
