Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Faade Designer
to support the design, development, and execution of building faade systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of faade materials, performance requirements, and industry standards, along with proficiency in 2D/3D design software.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering

  • Develop conceptual and detailed faade designs (glass, aluminum, stone, ACP, curtain wall, cladding, etc.).
  • Prepare faade shop drawings, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
  • Conduct structural, thermal, and performance analysis of faade systems.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure integration with building design.

Project Coordination

  • Review architectural drawings and provide faade design recommendations.
  • Support faade consultants and contractors during design review and approval stages.
  • Conduct site visits to verify installation quality and resolve faade-related issues.
  • Assist in mock-up preparation and testing processes.

Material & Technical Documentation

  • Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and faade performance criteria.
  • Evaluate faade materials, finishes, and systems for cost, durability, and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Faade Engineering, or related field.
  • 28+ years of experience in faade design (depending on seniority).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other faade modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of international faade standards (ASTM, EN, BS, NBC, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of structural glazing, curtain wall systems, cladding materials, and faade construction.
  • Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and faade system documentation.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience working with faade contractors and suppliers.
