Job Title: Product Owner Payments Domain (with PEGA Expertise)

We are looking for a Product Owner with deep expertise in the Payments domain and hands-on experience with PEGA applications. This role will be responsible for managing the product backlog, defining business and technical requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of payment solutions integrated with PEGA workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Backlog Management: Define, prioritize, and maintain a backlog aligned with business goals.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document payment and workflow requirements.
  • Feature Development: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for payment products and PEGA workflows.
  • Agile Delivery: Partner with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery in a SAFe Agile environment.
  • PEGA Expertise: Work with PEGA developers and architects to design and implement workflows; ensure alignment with business rules and compliance.
  • Domain Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payment systems such as ACH, Fedwire, TCH, SWIFT, and ISO 20022.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business, technology, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the Payments domain.
  • Strong knowledge of Fedwire, ACH, TCH, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 formats.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in a SAFe Agile environment.
  • Hands-on experience with the PEGA platform, including workflows and integration with payment systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in the Claims domain is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with payment engines like Finastra GPP, Dovetail, or FIS.
  • Familiarity with payment integration layers and channels.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance in the payments space.
  • PEGA certification (CSA/CSSA) is a strong advantage.
