Job Description:

The Dharamkata Operator is responsible for accurately weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles, maintaining proper weight records, and ensuring that all weighing operations comply with company and statutory guidelines. The role requires attention to detail, computer proficiency, and strong coordination with security, logistics, and accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the electronic weighbridge (Dharamkata) efficiently and accurately.

  • Record gross weight, tare weight, and net weight for all vehicles entering and leaving the premises.

  • Issue weighment slips, delivery challans, and maintain daily weighing registers.

  • Verify vehicle documents and ensure materials correspond to dispatch or receipt records.

  • Enter weighment data into the computer system (ERP / SAP / Excel).

  • Monitor and report any irregularities, overloading, or discrepancies in weight.

  • Ensure calibration and regular maintenance of the weighbridge.

  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the weighbridge area.

  • Coordinate with security staff, drivers, logistics, and accounts for smooth operations.

  • Prepare and submit daily / weekly / monthly weighbridge reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass; Diploma or ITI in any trade preferred.

  • Experience: 1–3 years in a similar role (manufacturing, logistics, or transport sector).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of weighbridge operation and basic computer systems (MS Excel, ERP/SAP).

    • Ability to operate printers and maintain records.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Accuracy and attention to detail

    • Integrity and reliability

    • Communication and coordination skills

    • Time management and discipline
