About Us:

C.V.Raman Institute of Technology - CVRIT Is a Private ITI Institute established In 1992 with an objective of imparting skills in various vocational trades to meet the skilled manpower requirement of industry . There are 9 different trades of Engineering & Non-Engineering field, of one or two years duration With Regular Mode Of Learning.

The courses are affiliated to National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), through the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET), Government of India in the Ministry of labour, New Delhi.

Some of the trades and units in this I.T.I are also run under approval of State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT). Institute has all infrastructure facilities needed for overall development of skilled manpower, like Workshops, theory rooms, library, Playground, Audio Visual Aids, and Hi-Tech Computer labs for awareness about computer to trainees of all trades.

Where You Come In

The Assistant Training Officer (ATO) – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) is responsible for providing comprehensive theoretical and practical training to trainees in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on instructional skills, and the ability to maintain workshop equipment to ensure a high-quality, safe, and industry-aligned learning environment.

Job Location: Bhubaneswar

. Training Delivery and Instruction

  • Deliver High-Quality Instruction: Conduct effective theory and practical training sessions on RAC systems as per approved curriculum and industry standards.
  • Practical Skills Impartation: Demonstrate and supervise trainees in key RAC operations including installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, brazing, vacuuming, charging, and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning units.
  • Assessment: Conduct periodic evaluations through practical tests and theoretical examinations to assess trainee skills and ensure learning outcomes are achieved.

2. Curriculum and Instructional Design

  • Lesson Plan Development: Prepare and update lesson plans, teaching materials, handouts, and demonstrations to reflect modern RAC technologies, tools, and safety standards.
  • Resource Management: Ensure availability and proper allocation of consumables, components, and tools required for RAC practical sessions as per the training schedule.

3. Workshop & Equipment Management

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, calibration, troubleshooting, and minor repair of RAC equipment, training rigs, tools, and instruments used in the workshop.
  • Operational Readiness: Maintain all RAC lab systems—including refrigeration units, split ACs, window ACs, and testing setups—in optimal working condition for seamless training delivery.
  • Routine Running: Manage the daily functioning of the RAC workshop, including inventory management, tool arrangement, safety compliance, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.

Who Are We Looking For

· Minimum set Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (BTech in Mechanical Engineering preferred)

· Experience: 1 to 3 years

What We Expect from You as the ATO- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning:

The ideal candidate is expected to ensure proper installation, servicing, and maintenance of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems while delivering effective hands-on training to trainees.

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
