About Ladli Foundation

Ladli Foundation is an internationally recognized grassroots NGO dedicated to advancing gender equality, improving women's health, and safeguarding human rights for marginalized communities. Since its inception, the organization has transformed the lives of over 3 million beneficiaries
through innovative social programs in education, health, life skills, and sustainable living.

The foundation was established by Devendra Kumar, a globally acclaimed social reformer, National Awardee, and Padma Shri Nominee by the Government of India
, who transformed unimaginable adversity into a powerful mission. Abandoned in a slum at the age of two left to care for his three-day-old infant sister,
Devendra survived as a child laborer while desperately seeking safety, shelter, and dignity.

In these darkest moments, he discovered volunteering as his refuge and purpose.
Serving others who suffered like him became his lifeline, and ultimately, the force that shaped his destiny. What began as small acts of compassion evolved into a lifelong commitment to uplift the vulnerable.

This unwavering passion for service propelled him from a neglected child in a slum to a
respected Social Reformer at the United Nations
. His journey embodies the transformative power of empathy, resilience, and community action.

Role Description: Volunteer – Mentor, Trainer & Skill Contributor

("We don't want your money. We need your time & skills.")

Ladli Foundation is inviting
socially inclined young people, corporate employees, IT professionals, and MNC staff
to contribute their skills toward uplifting the most vulnerable students across Delhi NCR.

As a Volunteer Mentor/Trainer, you will play a transformative role by:

What You Will Do

• Mentor and guide
  marginalized students
  in slums, in our identified 100 government schools, and our
  Institute of Future Skills
  .
• Provide
  career counselling
  , academic guidance, or skill-based training based on your expertise.
• Teach relevant skills such as digital literacy, coding, English communication, soft skills, arts, design, financial literacy, or any professional competency you can share.
• Support life-skill development for adolescents to improve confidence, decision-making, and career readiness.
• Collaborate in workshops, awareness sessions, and interactive classes in
  100+ government schools across Delhi NCR
  .
• Contribute to building an
  inclusive, empowered, and socially responsible society
  .

Who Can Apply?

We welcome individuals who are:

• Passionate about social change and youth empowerment
• Professionals from
  IT, corporate, management, creative, or technical fields
• College students or young people eager to volunteer
• Strong communicators with empathy and patience
• Ready to dedicate a few hours a week to teach, mentor, or inspire
• Willing to work on-ground in schools, slums, or community centers

Prior volunteering experience is great but not required. Your willingness to help is enough.
