Job Description

We are looking for an experienced
Data Engineer – MDM
to design, develop, and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica's suite of products. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, and digital teams to implement robust data governance frameworks that ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain
    Informatica MDM solutions
    aligned with business and data governance needs.
  • Configure and customize
    Informatica MDM hubs
    , including data models, matching rules, survivorship rules, and validation processes.
  • Develop and optimize
    data integration workflows
    for loading, cleansing, profiling, enriching, and synchronizing master data.
  • Implement
    data quality rules and standardization processes
    to ensure clean and consistent data.
  • Design and develop
    batch and real-time interfaces
    between MDM and source/target systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex MDM and data integration issues to ensure data integrity and system performance.
  • Collaborate with
    data architects
    to establish data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain
    technical documentation
    for all MDM implementations.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and stay updated with the latest in
    Informatica MDM technologies
    .

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
    .
  • 8+ years of experience in
    data engineering or data management
    , with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in
    Informatica MDM
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Informatica MDM architecture
    (Hub, Manager, Administrator, Operational UI).
  • Experience with
    Informatica PowerCenter
    ,
    Informatica Cloud
    , and
    Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
    .
  • Strong
    SQL
    skills and familiarity with
    Snowflake
    or other relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
  • Experience with
    web services
    and
    API integrations
    (REST/SOAP).
  • Good understanding of
    data modeling
    ,
    XML
    ,
    XSLT
    , and
    Java/JavaScript
    for MDM customization.
  • Exposure to
    agile methodologies
    and collaborative development environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
