: Data Engineer SQL Python Analytical Services

Location: Hinjewadi, Pune, India / Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu / Chennai, India
Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 5 (relevant)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval solutions within the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, strong SQL skills, and experience in implementing Snowflake best practices. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, and optimize performance for our data-driven applications and deal with the client. Should have worked in an Agile way of executing the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing ETL pipelines using SQL and other technologies such as Apache Airflow, Apache Nifi, or Talend.
  • Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data transformation and loading into Snowflake.
  • Designing and implementing data models in Snowflake, including schema design and optimization.
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency by implementing data validation and cleansing procedures.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse performance using Snowflake tools and other monitoring tools.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform and related tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash is desirable.
  • Experience with data integration patterns such as CDC, ELT, or ETL.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • BE/B. Tech in Computer Science / IT.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and associated data integration and migration technologies such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory.
  • Exposure to the Insurance domain.
