Role & responsibilities

The Manager Sales (Warehousing) will be responsible for driving business growth in warehousing solutions, building strong client relationships, and ensuring achievement of sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain solutions, warehousing operations, and customer needs, combined with a proactive sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in warehousing and contract logistics.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, solution pitching, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with operations and solutions teams to design customized warehousing solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive business growth.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability goals.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and sales reports.
  • Ensure seamless transition of closed deals to operations for smooth execution.
  • Support in developing pricing strategies, customer value propositions, and go-to-market initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience in sales/business development in logistics, warehousing, or contract logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing solutions, supply chain operations, and value-added services.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to CRM tools is an advantage.
