Haskoning is seeking experienced and motivated Instrument Control & Telecom Engineers to support our Maritime related projects in India. The position is full-time and based in Mumbai, and we are looking for candidates with good hands on experience in Marine Instrumentation & Functional Safety.

As a part of a larger Global Capability Centre, delivering key equipment and utilities infrastructure design and automation activities, you will be a key player in designing smart, sustainable and modern ELV systems on international maritime projects. Our Projects are technically complex and multi-dimensional, involving various implementing agencies and stakeholders. It includes all aspects of power distribution planning, optimization, control and monitoring.

The Senior ICT Engineer will play a key role in the technical and operational management of project delivery with our multidisciplinary team of international experts. The role also requires close coordination and collaboration with the Team, client, implementing agencies, and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities on the project

Lead and independently carry out Concept, FEED and Detailed design on the following;

• Terminal and jetty automation
• Field instrumentation and DCS systems
• Emergency shutdown, Fire & Gas detection and Process functional safety
• Fiber to the Office (FTTO), Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Networks
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT Networks)
• Data Center Design (Top of the Rack, End of the Row)
• Structured Cabling networks
• Outdoor Telecom network Infrastructure (Ducts, Manholes, Handholes)
• Video surveillance systems (IP CCTV system)
• Telephony System (Voice over IP)
• Security Access Control system and Perimeter Intrusion Detection system
• Audio Visual Systems (Conference Room, Board Room, Auditorium, Ball Room)
• WLAN Networks
• PAGA-Public Address General Announcement Systems (Network audio, Analogue audio)
• Horizontal and Backbone telecommunication Network
• IC & Telecom Proposals and Bid evaluation
• Knowledge and experience of relevant standards and design codes

• A full time Bachelor's degree in I & C or Electronics and Telecom engineering. Master's degree will be advantage.
• Demonstrated minimum of 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in Instrumentation, Control & Functional Safety within India. Maritime experience will be an added advantage
