DGM - Mechanical structural erection (Kawai)

Skills:

· Lead and manage the mechanical structural erection activities for power projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality assurance, and project timelines.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction to drive efficient and effective project delivery.

· Develop and implement strategic plans for mechanical structural erection, including resource planning, budgeting, and risk management.

· Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, addressing any challenges or obstacles encountered during the erection process.

· Monitor and evaluate the performance of subcontractors and vendors involved in the mechanical structural erection, ensuring adherence to project requirements.

· Prepare progress reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and project updates.

· Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to mechanical structural erection, incorporating innovative solutions into project execution.

· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and company policies throughout the erection phase of the projects.

· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize the overall project delivery process.

· Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, development, and collaboration within the mechanical structural erection department.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Experience:

15-24 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry

Technical Skills

· Extensive experience in mechanical structural erection within the Power/Energy industry

· Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning, scheduling, and reporting

· In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methodologies, and erection techniques

· Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing mechanical erection in the power sector

· Experience in managing large-scale projects with a focus on quality, safety, and cost control
