We are looking for highly experienced and devoted full-time/ part-time Medical Writers and Editors.

Please read the instructions carefully before applying.

Pre-requisites: (Don't apply if you are lacking in any of these)

  • I need a writer for scientific journal articles (Research and review articles), so don't apply if you have written only health/ lifestyle blogs/ website content, etc.
  • You will also handle the editorial process of the medical journals.
  • The candidate should have MS Office on his/her computer. Any work done on Google Docs or other online tools will not be accepted. It is mandatory because we send these articles to the clients or submit them to journals, and the format is disturbed every time you download them from Google Docs or online tools.
  • Your English should be perfect and at a professional level. There should be no minor grammatical, syntax, or language errors. You will provide the final version, as no other person will edit your work or improve the content.
  • The use of AI tools is not acceptable. Any plagiarized work will not be accepted, and no fee/ salary will be paid.
  • The writing work should satisfy the clients with positive feedback. Your working hours are important to us, and you should not spend time revising and editing the same article repeatedly.
  • Tracking tools such as Focus RO or equivalent will be used to monitor remote work, and hours will be calculated based on the active work shown in that App.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prior experience as a medical writer and editor is a must.
  • There will be 2 types of work: 1. Writing work for any client. I'll give details and a timeline. 2. Journal work - initial screening of newly submitted articles, sending them to reviewers, checking reviewers' comments, sending them to authors for revision, checking revised articles, and editing before final publication. It also includes checking emails and websites daily and writing articles for our journals.
  • Writing work includes writing different types of medical/ scientific papers, e.g., research, review articles, case reports, dissertations/ theses, e-books, guidelines, grant proposals, white papers, etc.
  • Should know all the referencing styles such as APA, Vancouver, etc.
  • Review and edit the articles written by other writers to make them ready for submission to high IF journals.
  • Editing doesn't mean correcting grammatical, syntax, and language errors only; it is necessary to remove redundancy, paraphrase the sentences, remove plagiarism, and add content whenever required to make it perfect.
  • Experience with writing Meta-analyses and systematic reviews would be a plus point, and an additional fee can be paid for these projects.
