Role & responsibilities :

  • Gather and document requirements and convert them into clear test cases.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, sanity, exploratory, and UAT testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Prepare detailed bug reports and track them until resolution.
  • Collaborate with the developer and project manager to ensure product quality.
  • Prepare final UAT report and provide sign-off for release.
  • Continuously suggest improvements in testing processes and tools.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Basic understanding of web apps (HTML, CSS, SQL).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think from an end-user perspective.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for requirement understanding and reporting.
  • Attention to detail and curiosity to explore what could break."
  • Knowledge of SDLC & STLC concepts.
  • Familiarity with UAT process and ability to prepare UAT documents/reports.
  • Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, or similar) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a small team setup.
