As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability, quality, and accessibility.

What You'll Do: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement data integration solutions to consolidate data from various sources.
• Optimize and maintain database systems for performance and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.

Who You Are: 

You're a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• You have 5 –7+ years of work experience in software development including developing distributed systems using big data technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Microsoft Azure/Fabric experience is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A self-starter who proactively tackles problems without waiting for managerial direction, while leveraging the manager's network and connections to remove obstacles.
• You will stand out if you have:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles.
  • Experience with real-time data processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Flink).
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to support daily tasks and productivity.
• Commitment to continuous learning in digital and AI literacy.
