About Us

Indian Association for the Blind (IAB) is a 40-year-old NGO empowering visually challenged individuals through education, training, and employment. Thank U Foods is our social enterprise supporting livelihoods through bakery outlets.

We are looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing & Content Executive to manage social media, content creation, and branding for both IAB and Thank U Foods.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role requiring photography, videography, content creation, social media management, and coordination with our internal teams. The candidate will work closely with management to build a strong digital presence and execute campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Capture photos & videos at IAB campus and Thank U outlets.
  • Create reels, stories, and short videos for Instagram & Facebook.
  • Edit photos/videos using Canva / mobile editing tools / AI.
  • Create posters, banners, and visuals for events/campaigns.

Social Media Management

  • Manage social media accounts for IAB and Thank U Foods.
  • Plan monthly content calendars.
  • Write captions, success stories, updates, and posts.
  • Schedule posts and monitor audience engagement.

Digital Marketing

  • Basic knowledge of Meta Ads & Google Ads.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports.
  • Update website content and blogs (basic level).

Coordination & Outreach

  • Work with IAB teams to gather content from events, training, and school activities.
  • Coordinate with Thank U outlets for product updates and promotions.
  • Support fundraising campaigns with creatives & online communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in any field (Marketing / Visual Communication preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in Digital Marketing / Social Media / Content.
  • Strong photography & videography skills (mobile acceptable).
  • Proficiency in Canva, basic video editing apps, AI, and social media tools.
  • Creative thinking, design sense, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication & writing skills in English and Tamil.
  • Ability to travel internally (IAB campus, outlets, events).
  • Female candidates preferable.

  • Young, energetic, and creative personality.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for social impact and community-based storytelling.
  • Experience in NGOs or start-ups is an added advantage.
