Business Development Manger (Life Science )
Location: Bengaluru / Kochi / Hyderabad
Company: Biocp Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Kochi
About the Role:
This role focuses on driving sales, business development, and technical support for Genomics,
NGS, Molecular Biology, Biologics QC, and Impurity Testing solutions (HCP, hcDNA, Endotoxin,Mycoplasma) across South India.
Target customers include Biopharma, Biotech, CROs, Diagnostic
R&D Centres, and Academic Research Institutes.
Qualifications:
M.Sc. / M.Tech. / Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or LifeSciences.
3- 5 years experience in Life Science Technical Sales or Application Support with hands-on exposure to Genomics, NGS, Molecular Biology, Biologics QC, Biological separations ,antibodies ,cell lines and impurity testing kits.
Roles & Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Generate and convert leads from Biopharma, Biotech, CROs, QC labs and academic institutes.
- Map key accounts and build strong sales pipelines in Genomics, NGS, Molecular Biology, and QC solutions.
Technical Sales & Customer Support
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, demos, and workflow discussions.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support for PCR/qPCR, library prep, DNA/RNA workflows, HCP/hcDNA, cell ines ,antibodies endotoxin & mycoplasma testing.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking
- Track competitor products, pricing, tender updates, and emerging market trends.
Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain CRM entries, visit reports, forecasts, and coordinate with internal teams for order
execution.
