The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of attending college, or building a career are significantly lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born in 2015 to challenge this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.

Job Descriptionl - Teaching your subject (60% time)
● Use existing resources and design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans
● Teach one or two subjects of your expertise to your class (about 30 students in each class)
● Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and give feedback to students
● Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy
● Collaborate with the parents of the students through regular meetings to create a positive learning environment
ll - Mentoring students (20% time)
● Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year
● Develop ways to ensure that these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel-share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem
● Mentor students to identify a best-fit career after Grade X
lll - Leading projects in school (20% time)
● Work with the School Principal and Vice Principal to lead multiple projects essential to student learning (based on your talents), such as Annual Day, Sports Day, Hobby Clubs, etc.
● Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor new teachers
QualificationsEducation & Experience:
● Required: B.Ed/D.Ed with more than 60%
● Preferred: CTET (Paper 1 or 2) / MHTET
Additional InformationCompensation and Benefits: We take pride in offering competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with the candidate's education and work experience. The salary range for this position ranges from 33k - 38k pm (CTC), and we are dedicated to providing top-notch industry benefits.
