Our latest venture, techtron, is expanding into E-Mobility and Smart Electronics, including E-Scooters, E-Bikes, EV Chargers, and Dirt Bikes. To support this growth, we are looking for a Creative Designer with strong AI, IT, and software knowledge to lead the next wave of digital creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing partners.
  • Implement inventory optimization strategies to ensure efficient stock management and cost control.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Buyer to align sourcing strategies with company goals.
  • Obtain, analyze, and compare quotes from various suppliers to ensure the best pricing and terms.
  • Negotiate pricing, quantity, delivery schedules, and payment terms to achieve optimal value.
  • Liaise with legal counsel to ensure all procurement contracts accurately reflect negotiated terms and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare quote comparison reports and contribute to supplier selection decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve company spending, outsourcing efficiency, and supplier performance.
  • Manage transportation and shipping logistics, ensuring competitive pricing, fast shipping, and adherence to delivery deadlines.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including pricing, correspondence, technical specs, quality, and legal records from start to completion of each procurement cycle.
  • Create and track purchase orders, manage updates to the weekly stock list, and report to management.
  • Utilize Chat GPT and other AI tools to draft communications, analyze supplier data, and streamline sourcing documentation.
  • Leverage productivity apps and cloud-based systems to manage workflows efficiently.
  • Use LinkedIn, CRM systems, and social media platforms for supplier research, networking, and relationship management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Buyer.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, supplier sourcing, and negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance productivity and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, cloud-based platforms, and productivity software.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, social media tools, and digital sourcing platforms preferred.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in LED, FMCG, automotive, or medical supply industries is advantageous.
  • Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage.
