Technical Business Analyst

You use your extensive multi-technology domain expertise to deliver against the following responsibilities:
- Lead the production of detailed business requirements for implementation by software and infrastructure development teams.
- Contribute to the design of data lifecycle management in assurance database and product interfaces for a variety of network and connectivity products, especially to enhance customer choice and reduce our time to market in releasing new features.
- Drive adoption of solution designs into delivery teams during both design and development phases to ensure alignment to strategy and product vision.
- Support the creation of innovative product roadmaps to create competitive differentiation, growth, cost savings, and customer service improvements.
- Work with other Product Management teams to understand customer performance expectations and measurement criteria to meet or achieve these standards.
- Advocate for and model best practices with Agile ways of working.
- Apply your impressive critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities to evaluate and resolve key impediments to the evolution of the technology product portfolio.
- Work with the Technical Product Owner and act as their liaison as required to track and achieve program and product milestones and remove any impediments.
- Guide the testing team and review test scenarios to ensure that business requirements are being met in the defined test cases
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in detailing and communicating requirements to software development teams and business stakeholders such as Technical PO, Program Manager, Service desk users from assurance platform, design and architecture teams
- Experience in requirement gathering and elicitation with regards to APIs and platform / xAAS approaches to product development to achieve business outcome.
- (Desirable) Knowledge of databases, inventory management systems, TMF standards, inventory lifecycle, difference between service, resource and assurance specific inventory with regards to Telecom products such as Ethernet, Internet, Subsea cables, Bearers, SDWAN, etc.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to support business and program team in project planning.
- Strong Agile skills and knowledge of creating Epics and Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria in Jira
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to support design, build and testing team to clarify the business objective for a particular requirement.
