Role Overview:

We are seeking a
Backend Developer
with strong expertise in
PHP and MySQL
to design, develop, and optimize backend systems for our telematics and tracking solutions. The candidate will work closely with our frontend, mobile, and hardware integration teams to deliver robust and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and server-side logic using PHP (Laravel / Core PHP).
  • Manage database architecture, optimization, and data flow using
    MySQL
    .
  • Integrate IoT data from GPS devices, sensors, and third-party APIs into the application.
  • Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature development and deployment.
  • Debug, test, and maintain code for high performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for APIs and system workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and deployment planning.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in
    PHP (Laravel / Core PHP)
    development.
  • Strong understanding of
    MySQL
    (queries, indexing, stored procedures, optimization).
  • Experience in
    RESTful API
    development and integration.
  • Familiarity with
    Linux servers
    ,
    Git
    , and
    basic cloud deployment (AWS)
    .
  • Good understanding of
    data security, authentication, and performance tuning
    .
  • Knowledge of IoT or GPS tracking data handling is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with
    JavaScript / / Python
    for API microservices.
  • Familiarity with
    Redis/MQTT / Socket programming
    for live tracking.
  • Exposure to
    AI or analytics modules
    in telematics platforms.
