Key Responsibilities:
- **Sales & Revenue Generation**:
- Identify and target potential clients, including businesses, travel agents, event planners, and corporate clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the hotel’s services (rooms, conference facilities, restaurants, etc.).
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Promote special offers and packages to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct regular follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure bookings and business agreements.
- **Market Research and Lead Generation**:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitor activities.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to generate new leads.
- Use online and offline methods to source leads and turn them into actual bookings.
- **Sales Presentations and Proposals**:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients.
- Provide proposals and quotes for clients, ensuring pricing is competitive and profitable.
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to create promotional materials and offers.
- **Collaboration with Other Departments**:
- Work closely with the operations team (front desk, catering, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate client needs and expectations to relevant departments.
- **Reporting & Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and booking details.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, including potential business forecasts, market analysis, and competitor comparison.
- Track and report on individual performance against sales goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- **Experience**: Previous sales experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is highly desirable.
