**Job description**
- Medical billers will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, which are necessary when working with clients or agents who regularly deal in these matters.
- The Medical Biller will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and other payers.
**Key Responsibilities Area of Medical biller:
- **
- Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and patient demography to avoid claim rejections.
- Accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and other payers.
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure appropriate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
- Resolve billing issues with insurance companies and other payers.
- Stay up-to-date for changes in medical billing regulations and guidelines also ensure compliance with these changes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and billing records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Reconciliation of monthly reports for billing to maintain the account health of the project.
- Reconcile all the queries of billing and timely resolution from practice to avoid the timely filing limits.
**Requirements and skills:
- **
- Proven work experience as a Medical Biller or similar role.
- Should have knowledge of medical terminology
- CPC certification would be a plus
- Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in medical billing or a related field is preferred.
Job Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat(WFO).
**Salary**: As per industry standards. Experience: 6 months - 12 months.
Shift: 2 PM - 11 PM (Noon).
