Main Purpose of the Job:
MMDV covers all aspects of standardization and automation for engineering design processes within Mott MacDonald. As part of this endeavour, the Intelligent Content product has been created and delivered to provide the benefit of standardised content management to our global practices.
The MIC Content Creator will report to the GDI MIC Manager and work closely with the wider Digital Ventures team as well as the Mott MacDonald global practices.
The MIC Content Creator will form part of the team having responsibility for the day-to-day creation and editing of the product content. This will mean ensuring that the product content is functional and that the content is of a consistent high quality.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Other duties include:

- Maintaining the content of the library.
- Liaise with MIC Curator, Content Checkers and Approvers to complete the content on-boarding process.
- Liaise with MIC practice champions to identify proposed content for the product.
- Present proposed content to the MIC Curator for review pending inclusion into the MIC catalogues.
- Creation of content for the library based on the MIC Curator recommendations.
- Undertake checking of catalogue Content created/edited by other Content Creators before being submitted for approval.
- Provide support to end-users of the platform.
- Researching ideas for content development.
- Undertaking global (or partial) updates to all content.
- Development of skills to become proficient in the use of all GIS and BIM platforms used within the MIC.
- Formal Education and Certification
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a major engineering or information technology-related discipline.

Knowledge and Experience
- Excellent knowledge of BIM processes and platforms.
- Extensive experience in one or more engineering disciplines.
- Proven track record in project delivery and team working.
- Experience in digital content creation, editing and checking in one or more of the following.
BIM Platforms (such as Civil 3D, Revit and Bentley Connect Open Series platforms). A working knowledge of Revit Family file creation would be preferred.
