SAP Analytics Product Owner

**What you will do**:

In this vital role you will will play a critical role in shaping the analytics strategy for the S/4HANA platform, working closely with business collaborators, data architects, and IT teams to deliver high-impact solutions that drive data-driven decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, other downstream analytics system, Data Fabric, analytics processes, and product management principles to effectively translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritized work.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategic goals for S/4HANA analytics & Analytics using SAP data to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, business teams, and IT to align the analytics capabilities with overall business strategies and analytics initiatives.
- Maintain a clear product backlog that reflects business priorities, analytics needs, and technical feasibility, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for business collaborators and analytics teams to gather and prioritize requirements for analytics features and functionalities.
- Conduct regular meetings with collaborators to ensure clear communication, expectation setting, and updates on project progress.
- Work with multi-functional development teams, data architects, and analytics engineers to convert business needs into actionable user stories and detailed product requirements.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from business users to ensure that delivered solutions meet expectations.
- Find opportunities to improve the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of analytics capabilities within S/4HANA.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure that data used for analytics in S/4HANA adheres to the company’s data standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new analytics tools and features.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Doctorate degree OR
- Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience OR
- Diploma and 10 to 12 years of Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role, with a focus on SAP Data or similar enterprise data systems.
- Consistent track record of managing and delivering complex analytics solutions in an SAP environment.
- Experience with Big Data Platforms, Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Mart, Data Mesh and Data fabric concepts.
- Good experience with analytics tools for SAP S4/HANA and Non-SAP technologies.

**Good-to-Have Skills**:

- Solid understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and business intelligence reporting.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Fiori, SAP Datasphere
- Experience with cloud (e.g. AWS) and on-premises compute infrastructure
- Experience with Databricks platform.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills with a demonstrable ability to lead multi-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and user story development.

**Professional Certifications**:

- SAP certification (preferred)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)
- Databricks Certification (preferred)

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical abilities to assess and improve data processes and solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical collaborators.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address data-related issues and implement scalable solutions.
