**About this role**
- Be the location SPOC for compliance and enforcement of BT security policies and standards
- Be the SPOC between Business units and administrative departments for relevant issues/incidents/concerns relating around security and safety.
- Manage the operational relationship with the relevant stakeholders (Business units, HR, IT, etc.) to minimize risks to BT.
- Primarily ensure to drive the program for Security assurance and manage the IT Security, physical security risks.
- Prepare and deliver plans and budgets for monitoring, maintaining and improving the availability and integrity of the organization’s security information processes and systems.

**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Ensuring alignment and compliance to various security requirements including IT Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Cyber, Privacy, Data Protection, Network Security and Regulatory compliance as per BT’s security policies
- Having a fair understanding of Data protection, Data privacy principles and regional/global standards
- Understanding of network perimeter security, Cyber Security operations, Incident management
- Should have familiarity with security standards, and should have experience with ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, SOC1/2
- **Perform physical security audits, operational checks, must have good understanding of physical security operations and processes**:

- **Perform supplier security audits and risk reviews**:

- Be able to discuss, talk through and present organizational perspective with respect to BT Security in governance and other meetings with Internal and External Clients.
- Own the process of preparation of management dashboards outlining information security compliance measurements against established baseline
- Monitor changes in relevant regulations and accreditation / certification standards affecting information security and make recommendations to the CISO and internal stakeholders on the need for policy changes.
- Responsible for information dissemination on Information Security policy, Procedures, Best practices etc within the specific clients / lines of businesses
- Articulate security risks in various domain and work with senior management to mitigate the same
- Managing emergency response plans to deal with cyber security incidents and reporting threats to relevant bodies.
- Maintains processes for managing escalations and notifications to key stakeholders and management during security incidents.
- Providing assurance to stakeholders on security compliance on internal and external security requirements.
- Administering internal security governance across region and share regular updates to management.
- Analyses, recommends and implements monitoring and compliance procedures based on external and internal information security risk.
- Support the Information Security awareness program via multiple methods.

**You'll have the following skills & experience**
- Excellent communication and liaison skills with stakeholders.
- **Experience in GRC, Security assurance including Information, IT and Physical security.**:

- Be able to design security processes and guidelines commensurate with organization’ and team’s objectives.
- Relevant operational knowledge and experience of security risk management.
- Relevant experience of stakeholder management and good interpersonal skills.
- **Must have worked on security assurance program in complex organizational settings.**
