Job Description Sales Executive

**Job title** _Sales Executive _

**Job purpose**

An important sales role which will contribute directly to the profitability of IBS. The role will be focused on sales and business development. Producing new business will be the lead function. Whilst identifying other potential opportunities will be a key responsibility of the role; making this an exciting and challenging role with fantastic development opportunities.
- You will be responsible for cold and warm face-to-face meetings with new clients and prospects.
- It is a role that will require extensive knowledge of the Interior jobs.
- You will form consultative sales relationships with key accounts and foster these for long-term benefit and be responsible for passing enquires onto the core team as appropriate.
- You will be expected to attend to leads in a proactive manner, record the results and prepare information and report on a daily basis to the core team.

**Duties and responsibilities**

- Develop and update the data base of the prospective construction projects and prepare their interior job needs and build up and develop successful supply relationship among all project clients in the assigned area. Suggest possible solutions to project customers with an effective coordination with the core team.

- To manage key accounts and establish long standing relationships with

Architects, Interior Designers, Developers, Interior Contractors to select right product.
- Represent the company in professional and diligent manner at all times and maintain professional standards of appearance, manner, discipline and work.
- Submit reports on a daily basis and weekly basis which are required for continuity of the business operation as directed by Core team.
- Provide monthly and quarterly performance status reports to the core team.
- Constantly upgrade interior job functions and technical knowledge to improve selling technique. Contact and develop prospective and existing clients and work to the activity targets set prospecting for new clients.
- Keep abreast of all the products in the company to enable to provide any technical advice and information as requested by any customer.
- Ensure updating the sales database and ensure quotation logs are kept up dated.
- Ensure that the activity targets set for proactive sales are achieved.
- Perform all related work as required.

**Qualifications**
- Graduate with Prior Experience of undertaking interior projects would be an advantage.
- Excellent command of the written and verbal English and Malayalam language
- Thrives in the a high-pressured fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently on strategic issues with client; capable of managing fairly complex projects

**Experience**
- Possess a minimum of 1+ years of sales experience in a consultative interior projects

**Skills Required**:

- Highly motivated by targets and achieving set goals
- Deliver accurate and high quality work.
- Ability to plan and organize workload.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Work effectively with other areas of the company.
- Personable, with good communication skills - written and verbal.
