Oracle Guided Learning is a best-in-class digital adoption platform developed and managed by Oracle University. We are on a mission to elevate the digital transformation experience for organizations across the globe, and need an energetic technical writer to join our team. As a technical writer, you will directly contribute by documenting the technical knowledge needed to implement and administer the Oracle Guided Learning product, and help us mature our documentation processes. You’ll be part of a dynamic team of product managers, content developers, and software developers working across countries and time zones to support a community focused on enabling use of Oracle platforms and services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Become a Subject Matter Expert for your assigned product or area, including product architecture, functionality, documentation tools, and processes.
- Design, develop, publish, and maintain a variety of new and existing documentation assets for Oracle Guided Learning product and services, which may include product documentation, tutorials, eBooks, infographics, product communications, videos, training documentation, certification exams, and embedded UI elements.
- Work with the development and product management teams to identify common user tasks to be addressed through user assistance for new and existing software features, within a fast-paced software release schedule.
- Interpret requirements and distill complex issues/ideas into simple and compelling communications to capture the attention of the target audience.
- Evaluate user interface and support UI solution design
- Help establish and use processes, templates, standards, and in-house style guides to create and manage clear, simple, and reusable content through asset lifecycles.
- Champion the role and importance of documentation within Oracle Guided Learning functions.
- Proactively address content gaps and promote continuous improvement of learning assets.
- Review and test peer learning content, including proofreading, editing, and rewriting content created by various stakeholders.

Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.
